This starts with the three different industries our pumps are operating in: maritime, offshore and tank storage. The maritime industry has oil, product and chemical tankers in various sizes with the need of our pumps:

The offshore industry has FPSO and FSO’s with storage tanks that have to discharge the crude oil to shuttle tankers with our pumps. And the tank storage industry has storage tanks with floating roofs. These roofs are equipped with our deep well pump to prevent from floating raining water on these roofs. 

All these industries have various circumstances for operation. Our deep well pumps are engineered due to understanding the technical requirements of the vessel based on types of cargoes, temperatures, capacities. And to understand the operation requirements of the owner based on; efficiency, environment and the people that have to operate the system. Features and specifications of the marflex deep well pumps
Engineered for your specific circumstances

All our pumps are; single stage centrifugal pumps. They are always designed with an ‘oil-lubricated’ drive shaft located in a separate supporting pipe. The deep well pumps have four main sections; electric motor, deck arrangement, pipe stack and pump head. 

For the maritime industry we have maritime standard design and for the offshore industry our pumps are designed according to API-610. 

The size and design of the pumps is depending on capacity, head. We have two types of design; eccentric and concentric. Our standard material is AISI 316L but due to different types of cargoes we are able supply in various materials. Since the driveshaft and shaft are not exposed to cargo we use 42CrMo4V material and for the driveshaft and 32CrNiMo6V for the shaft a very high grade steel. This design is perfect for this environment and required strength.
